The Enchanted Forest, Scotland’s multi-award-winning sound and light show, has revealed a new brand, ahead of releasing 80,000 tickets for sale on Friday.

The event, which is now in its 18th year, worked with Glasgow based design house Cause & Effect and marketing partner agency, Volpa, to develop the fresh branding which was unveiled last Wednesday.

Over 80,000 visitors entered The Enchanted Forest for last year’s sold-out show, bringing an estimated £7.6 million to the Scottish economy annually. Fans of the event have waited patiently for the hotly anticipated tickets to go on sale and many pre-sale tickets have already been snapped up by subscribers to the event’s e-newsletter, prompting organisers to urge people to book quickly before the event sells-out.

Tricia Fox, CEO of Volpa, has overseen the marketing direction of The Enchanted Forest for the last 11 years during the growth of the event from 15,000 visitors to its current 80,000 visitors per annum. She commented:

“It was the right time to evolve the brand as the event approaches its 20th anniversary in 2021 and I’m delighted at the results. It has been a real privilege to work with the exceptional creative talents at Cause & Effect to develop this new brand and then to roll it out onto our digital platforms ahead of this year’s ticket launch. The event continues to go from strength to strength and our new branding reflects our position as the pioneers in sound and light shows. Tickets for this year’s show are already selling quickly and customer response to the new brand has been overwhelmingly positive.”

Ed Watt, Director of Cause & Effect said:

“The Enchanted Forest is a truly pioneering and inspiring organisation, and we’re thrilled to have been working with their team to create a fresh new brand that fits its position as a world-renowned event. The identity is a huge shift, one which builds on previous success but with a modern look and feel that’ll continue to inspire audiences well into the future.”

This year’s Enchanted Forest will run from October 3 – November 3, 2019 at Faskally Wood near Pitlochry. Tickets are now on sale. For more information visit www.enchantedforest.org.uk
