DESIGN: Ardblair Stones

Castle Water is the main sponsor of The Ardblair Stones challenge, which consists of nine reinforced concrete spheres ranging in weight from 18-152kg. The stones must be lifted sequentially from lightest to heaviest onto whisky butts. The winner will be the person who lifts each of the stones onto the whisky butts in the quickest time.

We were tasked with designing a new logo for the Herculean strongman challenge.

Our cunningly good® approach…

The new logo had to reflect not only the Scottish, traditional heritage of the challenge but also to encompass the key attribute required – strength!

A brand refresh was required to re-launch the challenge to a wider audience and to have a clear and consistent image to help promote the events across Scotland.

As well as the brand, our team designed a range of promotional material, including T-Shirts, vehicle branding, event mats, banners and even temporary tattoos!
