We managed to stay cool, calm and collected in July despite the heat and the busy schedule. Here’s a couple of our highlights from the month.
This month, St Andrews Aquarium was graced by a visit from mama Murray herself when she came to visit her namesake Judy the Penguin. She was delighted to meet the new additions to the penguin family, saying “I’m a granny all over again.” Judy was also very excited to feed the penguins, especially her namesake, commenting “I’m glad to see she’s inherited the family catching skills.”
A big circle in our calendar this month was the Crieff Comedy Festival, as some of the top comedians from all over Scotland and beyond came to give us a laugh before heading to the Edinburgh Fringe.
It’s safe to say our team had a fair amount of success this month, having been nominated in four categories for the ASB National Business Awards and a whole seven categories for CIPR Pride Awards. The categories include Best Performing Team of the Year, the Community Commitment Award and Business of the Year!

This month also saw Volpa featured on BQ Magazine’s website, both times in discussion with CEO Tricia Fox. Tricia talked about what it was like to be part of a growing business and what it takes to succeed and stand out in the industry. She also got to talk about her furry friend Molly, and the pros and cons of having a dog in the office.
